Since  2015 I am a PhD student of dr. Karol Palka. My research area is complex affine algebraic geometry, especially surfaces, their embeddings and singularities, which I study from the viewpoint of logarithmic Minimal Model Program. My PhD project tackles the classification problem of Q-homology planes, primarily the (complements of) planar rational cuspidal curves.
